When you drop a Banana peel' any opponent who contacts it will slip ans fall to the ground. This does not inflict any damage' but it does make the opponent briefly vulnerable. A Banana peel does affect players until it has been picked up and thrown' thus becoming active. when an opponent slips on the Banana peel' the item reacts accordingly and moves as well.An opponent can slip on the same peel consecutive times if they continue trying to recover on top of it.

Watch closely when a Banana peel appears. The item's appearance is same whether it's been active or has just appeared onstage.
